At CXA Markets we are passionate about High Performance,
and everything we do is measured in three dimensions: Time, Efficiency, and Deliverables. In
addition, each dimension's relative Priority is factored in.
From the simplest action to the most complex project, regardless of whether we're selling
burgers, building skyscrapers, or choosing stocks, these dimensions are the
ultimate metrics in determining success in every business relationship.
Everyone
is familiar with missed schedules (time), budget overruns (efficiency), and products/services
(deliverables) that fall short of expectations — or promised investment returns
that never materialize.
We set out to give TED a face, and developed the following proprietary expression to define
a given unit's TED score:
In a perfect outcome, the sum of the dimension values equals zero (0).
A positive value indicates that expectations are exceeded, and a negative
value indicates a shortfall. But the uniqueness is that the same result can produce both
positive and negative scores, because the score is based on the consumer's
expectations, not the producer's agreed inputs.

As a graphic, TED Score is represented by an equilateral triangle with a
starting point in the center. Each line from the center to the vertice
represents one dimension, and each vertice marks the dimension's objective.
TED Score is the basis for CXA Market's TED Investment Model, and
operates in conjunction
with the proprietary and unconventional "Micro Market Cycles."
